Royals fans Advised to ‘Come Early and Stay Late’ for the day-long celebration of baseball, family and fun when The Principal Financial Group Family Fun Fest visits Rosenblatt Stadium as the Omaha Royals take on the Tucson Sidewinders!

COME EARLY for the Fun Fest Midway & Baseball Museum

The Principal Financial Group Family Fun Fest features over 20 midway-style attractions including batting cages, radar gun pitching challenge, steal home bungee run, giant “side by side” super slide, the Xboxâ Home Run Derby video game trailer and many more fun and exciting baseball themed attractions. The traveling Minor-League Baseball Museum includes minor-league baseball memorabilia, props from classic baseball movies, and historic baseball footage and photographs. The Midway and all of it’s attractions will be free for all fans, will be set up next to the ballpark and opens at 10:35 a.m., 3 hours prior to game time, on Sunday, August 1st.

Organizers, Entertainment & Sports International, spent over $1 million creating the event, which will appear at 52 ballparks across the country in the 2004 season, including an appearance at the Triple-A All Star Game Fan Fest in Providence, Rhode Island in July and the South Atlantic League All-Star Game in Charleston, South Carolina. “We wanted to build an exciting, impressive and professional project like the NFL Experience, or the NBA Jam Session, but tailored to minor league baseball teams and markets,” said ESI’s Bert Gould.
