FC Dallas News Release

FRISCO, Texas (Feb. 7, 2011) - FC Dallas ventured outdoors this weekend for the first time since MLS Cup 2010. The Western Conference Champions trained on the Dr. Pink turf field at Pizza Hut Park on Sunday, Feb. 6, and again this morning.

Players completed a timed two-minute run on Sunday. The competition was championed by rookie defender Scott Gordon. Following the fitness test, the team worked on some technical drills before playing small-sided games. Today's training session was very similar. Practice began with fitness training, followed by technical training. The morning session concluded with FC Dallas' first 11-on-11 action of the season.
