January 13, 2010 - NBA G League (G League)
Reno Bighorns News Release

RENO, Nev.-Desmon Farmer set a new franchise record with 36 points Tuesday night, lifting the Reno Bighorns to a 98-85 victory over the Utah Flash in the Reno Events Center.

The victory snaps a seven-game losing skid for Reno, and gives the Bighorns a 2-1 lead in the season series over the Flash.

Farmer connected on 8-of-11 attempts from beyond the arc, hit all four free-throw attempts and finished 12-of-21 from the floor in his record-setting performance. His 36 points trump the previous franchise high of 35, which Farmer, himself, set on Dec. 5.

Mo Charlo scored 17 for Reno, while Rod Benson chipped-in 15 points and eight boards in the winning effort.

Luke Nevill led the way for the Flash with 28 points on the strength of 13-of-16 shooting from the field. Andre Ingram kicked-in 16 points, and Dontell Jefferson dished-out seven assists.

The Bighorns trailed by three points at intermission, but fired back in the second half, outscoring Utah 57-41.

Reno now heads back on the road for four-straight games. First up on the road trip is a date with the Idaho Stampede on Friday night. Tip-time from Qwest Arena is set for 6 p.m. PT.

The Bighorns return home on Saturday, Jan. 30 for a two-game weekend series with the Flash. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m., and the Bighorns will celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Night in the Reno Events Center. Tickets are on-sale now at www.RenoBighorns.com, the Reno Events Center Box Office, Silver Legacy Box Office, or by visiting any Northern Nevada Ticketmaster location or Web site.
