September 3, 2016 - Florida State League (FSL1)
Fort Myers Mighty Mussels News Release
In the final Saturday home game of the season, the Fort Myers Miracle are opening the doors for Fan Appreciation Night and making it rain with over $20,000 in prizes to be given out and an ode to the start of college football season.
The Miracle are hosting the Bradenton Marauders for a resumed game doubleheader at 4 p.m. Gates open at 3 p.m. and the Miracle will resume a suspended game from Thursday night with the Marauders leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth.
When the gates open, fans wearing college football gear will receive $2 off their ticket price at the Miracle box office. With the recent inclement weather from Hurricane Hermine, the Miracle will slice another $1 off the ticket for fans wearing Miami Hurricane gear to the ballpark. That's $3 off for sporting Canes garb! All college football fans will be able to watch the biggest games of the opening weekend on our televisions at the third base bar!
While you are at the bar, order up some tropical-themed, recent weather-inspired drink specials. Of course, we'll have a unique Home Run Hurricane rum cocktail. And... since the sun has returned to Southwest Florida today, we've got a Tequila Sunrise Suprise! Also, if the tarp goes on the field today, we'll bring you $2 tarp beer as long as the diamond is covered. The final $2 Saturday of the summer means $2 domestic draft beers from 5-7 p.m.
