ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Texas Rangers announced Tuesday that RHP Josh Lindblom has been recalled for the third time.
Lindblom carried a 7-0 record and 1.99 ERA at Triple-A Round Rock at the time of his recall. The right-hander has gone 0-2 with a 5.40 ERA in four starts with the Rangers this season, the first four major league starts of his career.
In his last start with the Express, Lindblom went 6.0 innings, allowing one run on seven hits to earn the win over New Orleans on June 27. He has gone 4-0 with a 2.45 ERA at Dell Diamond and 3-0 with a 1.35 on the road with Round Rock.
With these moves, the Express roster sits at 24 active players, one shy of the Pacific Coast League limit.
