Express Announces Front Office Additions

ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Round Rock Express announced Wednesday the addition of six staff members to the front office.

Jill Cacic joins the team as director of communications following the departure of Larry Little. Stuart Scally became a member of the sales staff as a senior account executive. Corey Woods was named stadium maintenance manager of The Dell Diamond. Juliana Benavides and Lindsey Gordon join the Express staff as account executives. Additionally, Whitney Rhoden was named marketing coordinator.

"We're excited to announce these additions to our staff," Express owner and CEO Reid Ryan said. "They each bring enthusiasm and fresh, creative ideas that will be an asset not only to the Express, but the entire community of Round Rock."

Round Rock begins the 2013 season with an eight-game home stand that includes four-game series against Omaha (April 4-7) and Iowa (April 8-11). Cacic, a Southern California native, spent the last three seasons as the director of media relations with the Huntsville (Ala.) Stars, the Double-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. Prior to that, she served as a digital media, marketing and promotions specialist with the San Diego Padres flagship station, XX1090AM. A graduate of San Diego State University, she also spent time in the athletic media relations department at her alma mater.

Scally spent the previous two seasons with the Sacramento River Cats (Triple-A, Oakland) as an account executive. Originally from Napa, Calif., Scally earned his Bachelor of Arts in history and political science from the University of California, San Diego.

Woods, a native of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, previously worked as a job-site supervisor for Surdyk's Decorating in Newport Beach, Calif.

Benavides, an Austin native, graduated from Texas Lutheran University with a degree in sports management. She worked for the Express as a ticket rep in 2011 and 2012 before joining the staff full-time in October.

Gordon, a Houston native, worked in the sales department for the Houston Aeros hockey team prior to moving to Round Rock. She played four years of collegiate softball at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor while earning a bachelor's degree in sport management.

Rhoden was a part of the inaugural "Express Street Team" in 2012. She graduated from St. Edward's University with a Bachelor of Arts in advertising and public relations, where she played volleyball for four years.
