Charleston Dirty Birds News Release
Charleston, WV (April 6, 2009) -Tomorrow's exhibition game between the West Virginia University Institute of and Technology Golden Bears and the West Virginia Power has been cancelled due to poor weather conditions. Fans can exchange their unused ticket at the Power Box Office for a ticket to any 2009 regular season Power home game.
The Appalachian Power Park gates will open on Thursday at 6:00 pm to kick-off the 2009 season. The first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive a free 2009 magnet schedule courtesy of Suddenlink and WCHS 580. Post-game will also feature the first fireworks show of the season courtesy of Suddenlink. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 pm.
Tickets for the game are on sale now at the Power Box Office, over the phone at 304-344-BATS, or online at wvpower.com. All tickets purchased in advance are $5.00 for General Admission and $7.00 for a Box Seat. Tickets purchased the day of the game are $6.00 for General Admission and $8.00 for a Box Seat.
