ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades wrapped up a four-game road swing this past week with a 2-2-0 record. The Everblades enter this week's action with a record of 8-5-0 (16 pts., 3rd, South Divison.)

Wednesday, Friday & Saturday, November 21, 23 & 24 vs. Pensacola Ice Pilots

Game Times: 7:30 p.m. All Games

The Everblades open a six-game home stand on Wednesday night in the first of three straight games against the Pensacola Ice Pilots. The games vs. the Ice Pilots are the first three of 11 to be played between the South Division rivals this season, and the first three of five at Germain Arena. Last season the Everblades finished with an 8-2-1 record vs. Pensacola, including going 4-2-0 at Germain Arena. The Everblades hold an all-time record of 45-13-10 vs. Pensacola and are 24-6-6 all-time at home vs. the Ice Pilots. Pensacola enters this week's action with a record of 2-8-1 (5 pts, T-8th South Division).

Tuesday, November 13 at Columbia Inferno 4-3 Loss

The Everblades opened their four-game road trip with a 4-3 loss to the Inferno at the Carolina Coliseum in Columbia, SC on Tuesday night. Derek Damon notched a hat-trick for the Everblades in the game, including two third period goals to erase a 3-0 Inferno lead, but Columbia tallied the eventual game-winning goal with 12.4 seconds left in regulation. Justin Peters started in goal for the Blades and took the loss allowing the four goals on 30 shots. Florida Special Teams: PP: 1-for-6; PK: 4-for-5.

Thursday, November 15 at Augusta Lynx 5-3 Loss

The Everblades dropped their second straight decision on Thursday night falling to the Augusta Lynx 5-3 in the first meeting of the year between the teams. Mathieu Melanson and Brad Herauf helped give the Everblades a 2-1 lead after one period, but three second period goals by the Lynx opened a 4-2 lead for the home team after two periods. Herauf notched his second goal of the night late in the third period to cut the Augusta lead to 5-3, but that was as close as the Blades would get. Tyler Plante started in net for the Everblades, but took the loss after allowing five goals on 30 shots. Florida Special Teams: PP: 0-for-4; PK 5-for-7.

Friday, November 16 at Charlotte Checkers 5-4 Shootout Win

The Everblades staged an impressive 5-4 come-from-behind victory in Charlotte on Friday night. Four times during regulation the Everblades erased a one-goal Charlotte lead. Ernie Hartlieb led the way with two goals including scoring the game-tying goal with 55.6 seconds left in regulation. Derek Damon and Kyle McAllister scored the other two goals in regulation for Florida. After a scoreless overtime, the Everblades won the shootout 3-2 with defenseman David Cornacchia's goal being the decider in the 5th round. Justin Peters held on for the win between the pipes stopping 28 of 32 shots in regulation and overtime and turning away three shootout attempts. Florida Special Teams: PP: 2-for-9; PK: 7-for-8.

Saturday, November 17 at S. Carolina Stingrays 4-2 Win

The Everblades finished off their four-game road trip with an impressive 4-2 win over South Carolina on Saturday. Derek Damon continued his torrid scoring pace, tallying four points, including two goals. Ernie Hartlieb and Mathieu Melanson registered the other two Everblades goals in the winning effort. In goal Tyler Plante stood out stopping 33 of 35 South Carolina shots to earn the win. Florida Special Teams: PP: 3-for-7; PK: 4-for-5.

Player of the Week Nominee: This week's Everblades Player of the Week nominee is Derek Damon who torched the competition this past week with 10 points in four games. Damon notched six goals and added four assists, while finishing the week with a plus-4 rating.

Special Teams Breakdown: Here's a look at the special teams of the Everblades and how it breaks down home and away: Power play: 17-for-74 (23.0%) which ranks the Everblades 5th in the ECHL. At home the Everblades are 9-for-26 (34.6%) which ranks 1st, and on the road the Everblades are 8-for-48 (16.7%) which ranks 13th. Penalty Kill: 69-for-78 (88.5%) which ranks the Everblades 1st in the ECHL. Movin' On Up!: A pair of Everblades were called up the Albany River Rats of the American Hockey League today. Everblades forward Derek Damon makes his first trip to the AHL this season and the second of his career after posting 20 points (9g, 11a) in the first 13 games of the season for the Blades. Defenseman J.D. Forrest also heads to the AHL for the first time this season. Forrest has notched one goal and seven assists in 12 games with Florida this season.

Milestones Reached: Forward Ernie Hartlieb skated in his 400th career game on Friday, November 16 at Charlotte. The Warren, Michigan native has 263 points (88g, 175a) in 401 career games...Brad Herauf reached a milestone in his career when he scored his 50th professional goal on November 15 at Augusta.
