Everblades Acquire Forward Adam Brace

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President & General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Brad Ralph announced Monday that the team has acquired forward Adam Brace from the Kalamazoo Wings as part of a three-team trade. The terms of the three-team deal are as follows:

Florida receives Adam Brace from the Kalamazoo Wings in exchange for forward Peter Schneider and defenseman Corey Syvret. Kalamazoo then sends Syvret to the Atlanta Gladiators in exchange for defenseman Blake Kessel.

Brace, 28, returns for his third stint with the Everblades. Brace began the season with the Orlando Solar Bears where he logged four points (1g, 3a) in seven games played. Brace was recently traded by Orlando to Kalamazoo on November 20.

Brace led the Everblades in scoring during the 2014-15 season posting a balanced 72 points (35g, 37a), earning him team MVP honors. Following his senior campaign at Robert Morris University in 2012-13, Brace collected six points (1g, 5a) in six games during his first tour with the Everblades.

Last season, the 5-10, 185-pound forward played in Europe with the Heilbronn Falcons (DEL-2) registering 63 points (28g, 35a) in 52 games. The Cobden, Ontario native has totaled eight points (3g, 5a) in 12 American Hockey League games split between the Charlotte Checkers and the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.

Schneider joins the K-Wings after logging four points (1g, 3a) in ten games this season. Syvret was in his second season with Florida, and now joins the Gladiators having logged two assists in 14 appearances.
