Esks Sign QB Crompton

(Edmonton) - The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club announces the signing of import quarterback Jonathan Crompton.
Crompton finished his senior season at Tennessee completing 58.3 per cent of his passes for 2,800 yards and 27 touchdowns. He finished his collegiate career as the seventh all-time passer, going 348-of-629 with 4,187 yards and 36 touchdowns. He was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL Draft and also spent time with New England Patriots, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Washington Redskins.
