(Edmonton) -- The Edmonton Eskimos made the following eight selections in tonight's CFL Draft.

Round 1 (5th overall): Wide Receiver Nate Behar

In four seasons with the Carleton University Ravens, Behar averaged 85.9 yards per game and 14.5 yards per catch, his best season coming in 2014 when he racked up a career-high 837 receiving yards (104.6 yards per game), seven touchdowns and 17.4 yards per reception. The five-foot-11, 204-pound receiver recorded the fastest 40 time among all receivers at the CFL Combine with 4.61.

Round 2 (14th overall): Offensive Lineman Jean-Simon Roy

The six-foot-two, 287-pound Laval University product dominated the bench press at CFL Combine with 39 reps of 225 pounds, the sixth-highest in combine history.

Round 3 (22nd overall): Linebacker Chris Mulumba

Mulumba recorded 42 career starts for the University of Maine. The six-foot, 237-pound linebacker played in the 2012 International Bowl and twice in the Canada Cup, first as a member of the U19 team in 2009 and again as a member of the U18 division in 2010.

Round 4 (31st overall): Defensive Back Jordan Hoover

An Ontario Regional Combine standout, Hoover had the fourth fastest shuttle time ever recorded by a DB at combine with 4.03. He played all eight regular season games for the Waterloo Warriors in each of the last three seasons, breaking out in 2014 with 39 tackles (32 solo), an interception and three pass breakups. The following season, he led the team with five interceptions. Last season, he finished second on team with 44 tackles. He also recorded six catches for 157 yards on offence. The six-foot-two native of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario earned an invite to the CIS East-West Bowl for Team West last year.

Round 5 (40th overall): Offensive Lineman Justin Senior

The Mississippi State product was a top ranked CFL Scouting Bureau prospect. The six-foot-five, 310-pound native of Montreal, Quebec competed in the NCAA's Senior Bowl and attended the NFL Combine. Senior was recently drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the sixth round of the NFL Draft.

Round 5 (41st overall): Defensive Lineman Kwaku Boateng

The six-foot-two, 250-pound defensive lineman is Wilfrid Laurier's all-time sack leader. The two-time Academic All-Canadian was a member of the Yates Cup conference championship team this past November. Boateng received an invite to mini camp for the NFL's Chicago Bears.

Round 6 (49th overall): Offensive Lineman Kwabena Asare

The Carleton University product competed in the 2016 East-West Bowl for Team East. The native of Brampton, Ontario stands at six-foot-eight and weighs 270 pounds.

Round 8 (67th overall): Defensive Lineman Mark Mackie

McMaster Marauders defensive lineman Mark Mackie recorded 25 reps on the bench press, good for second at the Ontario Regional Combine. He also ran the second-fastest time among defensive lineman and recorded the longest broad jump among defensive lineman. The six-foot-two, 262-pound native of London, Ontario competed in the CIS East-West Bowl for Team West.
