Eskimos and Corus Renew Radio Broadcast Deal Through 2021

(Edmonton) - The Edmonton Eskimos and Corus Entertainment Inc. have renewed their agreement to broadcast Eskimos game action exclusively on 630 CHED through 2021.
"This long-term partnership is a testament to the solid bond between Corus Entertainment and the Edmonton Eskimos. We view Corus as a member of our corporate family," says Len Rhodes, President and CEO of the Edmonton Eskimos. "CHED delivers a top-notch broadcast of our games. Beyond the turf, the content across the entire Corus radio network throughout the year is stellar."
Today's extension is a continuation of the partnership between 630 CHED and the Edmonton Eskimos that began in 1994 with legendary Eskimos voice Bryan Hall and Eskimos alumni John Farlinger calling the game. Today Morley Scott, Dave Campbell and Eskimos alumni Blake Dermott are the voice of game action for the Green and Gold.

The multi-year deal includes the continuation and creation of original Eskimos programming on all Corus stations (CHED, iNews 880, Fresh FM, CISN Country), including the pre-game show, post-game show and special features on the team, community initiatives and special events all year long.
