Today, the SeaWolves look to avoid a series sweep and a four-game losing streak as they take on the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Toronto Blue Jays) in the final game of a three-game series at Jerry Uht Park. Last night, once again, the Fisher Cats jumped ahead 2-0 in the top of the first inning and led wire-to-wire as they took down the SeaWolves 5-4 to win the series. New Hampshire has led in all 18 innings of the series... Myles Jaye makes his 15th start of the season and first against the Fisher Cats. Jaye has worked at least six innings in seven straight starts and has fired three consecutive quality starts. Jaye earned his third win in his last start against Bowie on June 17. In the game, he allowed three runs on seven hits with two walks and three strikeouts in six innings of work. Erie won the game 5-4... Lefty Shane Dawson takes the mound for the Fisher Cats making his 12th start and first against the SeaWolves. Dawson took a loss in his last start at Akron on June 17. In the game, he allowed five runs, three earned, on four hits with three walks and no strikeouts in 1.1 innings of work. It was the shortest outing for Dawson this season. In seven road starts this season, Dawson is 2-2 with three no-decisions and a 4.11 ERA.
