Energy roll past Mad Ants

DES MOINES, IA - Point guard Chris Wright scored 19 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out 9 assists to lead the Iowa Energy to a 102-88 win over the Ft. Wayne Mad Ants Saturday night. The Energy dominated the glass, outrebounding Ft. Wayne by a 61-41 margin on the night.

Iowa led 52-46 at halftime before breaking the game open in the 3rd quarter. The hosts outscored Ft. Wayne 31-11 in the stanza to take a commanding 82-57 lead before coasting to the victory.

Quincy Miller, on assignment from the Denver Nuggets, scored 17 points and pulled down 12 rebounds on the night for Iowa.

Darryl Partin led Ft. Wayne with 17 points while JuJuan Johnson scored 9 points and added 14 rebounds for Ft. Wayne.

Iowa improves to 1-2 on the year, while Ft. Wayne falls to 2-3.
