Energy FC Sidekicks Program with Special Olympics and TOPSoccer Kicks off July 15

OKLAHOMA CITY - OKC Energy FC hosts its first ever Energy Sidekicks event on Wednesday, July 15 at Soccer City from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. at 4520 Old Farm Road in Oklahoma City.
The Energy FC Sidekicks program serves to establish a relationship between Energy FC soccer players and athletes from the Special Olympics and TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is designed to bring the opportunity to learn and play soccer to anyone, regardless of physical or cognitive abilities. Each player on the Energy FC roster is paired with a Special Olympics or TOPSoccer athlete and meet on multiple occasions during the season to form a permanent bon
This first event is an opportunity for each of the Energy FC players to meet their Sidekick. The team members are slated to play games with their Sidekick on the indoor fields inside Soccer City.
Energy FC returns to the pitch this weekend as they host Orange County Blues FC Saturday at 7 p.m. at historic Taft Stadium.
