Etem also skated in four Calder Cup Playoff games with Syracuse last season, netting two goals.
The 20-year-old native of Long Beach, California, was selected by Anaheim in the first round (29th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Prior to turning pro, Etem recorded 143 goals and 252 points in 202 career junior games with the Western Hockey League's Medicine Hat Tigers. Last season, Etem led all Canadian Hockey League players (QMJHL, OHL and WHL) with 61 goals in 65 games.
