Eugene Emeralds News Release

EUGENE, OR - The Emeralds game is filled to the brim with excitement on Thursday, August 18. Headlined by Teacher Appreciation Night, presented by PeaceHealth, the game will also feature a school supply drive with Kendall Subaru. And to top it off, it's Throwback Thursday at PK Park.

PeaceHealth is happy to be donating tickets to the game for local teachers. They are welcome to claim free tickets to the game for themselves and their families, however supplies are limited to the first 300 teachers so act fast. Teachers in attendance will be given a gift if they report to the Information Booth that is located behind section five in the stadium.

Kendall Subaru wants to help ensure that kids are ready when school is back in session this fall. They will be collecting school supplies on behalf of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Emerald Valley near the first base gate at PK Park. They hope to collect enough supplies to fill a Subaru before the game starts. Everyone who donates a needed item will receive 10 percent off of their next vehicle service.

The Ems and KVAL are reaching way back for the final attraction of the night. Players will be sporting several retro jerseys to give fans a blast from the past. KVAL will be handing out throwback hats to the first 200 fans that come through the Home Plate Gate. Fans who post pictures of themselves at the game to any social media platform with #LiveonKVAL will be entered to will Emeralds playoff tickets!
