The Jackals are facing the Royals tonight for the 13th of 16 meetings this season and the sixth of eight at Sovereign Center. The Jackals are 6-4-2 against Reading this season after claiming a 4-3 win in Elmira last night. The Jackals have won three of their last four against the Royals in come-from-behind fashion. Elmira's offense has been the biggest key to victory with a five goals per game average over the four game win streak against Reading. The third period has been particularly strong with Elmira holding a 10-2 advantage in the last four games. Elmira's six wins against Reading this season are more than any other team.

Last season the Jackals fashioned comebacks in 23 of their 45 victories which included 12 while trailing after two periods. This year's Jackals team has kept the trend going with 12 of its 26 wins coming in comeback fashion; five of those when trailing after two. The biggest deficit they have overcome was three goals on Feb. 6 vs. Reading and five other times they have come back from two goal deficits. Ten of their 12 comeback wins have been since Dec. 27, and the Jackals have built a 15-6-1 record in that time.
