CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS - Help the Corpus Christi IceRays celebrate student achievement in our area schools by joining the team for Grades For Blades Night at the American Bank Center on Wednesday, Mar. 15 at 7:05 p.m. when they host the Shreveport Mudbugs for a one-game set.
The annual Grades For Blades Night is a way for the IceRays to help reward local students in the greater Corpus Christi community for their continued hard work through academics in the classroom as well as being a positive impact on their school community for their peers. The IceRays have donated tickets to area elementary and middle schools for distribution to students who have showcased positive results in their respective schools. Each season, the IceRays have seen between 3,000 and 5,000 patrons at the Grades For Blades Night.
In addition, the IceRays have two special offers for those looking to join from Spring Break or for some mid-week fun. Wednesday's game is a Winning Weekday, which means fans can purchase a ticket at the American Bank Center Box Office and earn a second ticket for free. This offer is only available at the arena box office. Plus, the IceRays are offering a Post-Game Skate, presented by Braselton Homes, immediately following the game. Wrist bands are on a first-come, first-serve basis for $7 for fans that need skate rentals and $5 for those with skates.
The IceRays have just five home games remaining including the tilt on Wednesday with only two buy-one, get-one free games left as well as only four post-game skate opportunities before the end of the regular season. Wednesday's game is the last home game against the Mudbugs this season and a chance for the IceRays to set themselves up for a potential playoff berth this weekend. Buy-one, get-one tickets are available at the arena box office, and full priced seats can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com.
