Eklund Called Up to Springfield

Pensacola, Fla.Pensacola Ice Pilots Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Todd Gordon announced that goalie Brian Eklund has been called up to the Springfield Falcons of the AHL. Eklund played in 19 regular season games with the Ice Pilots this season posting a record of 10-6 and a 3.66 goals against average.
The Ice Pilots will play home to Mississippi tonight in Game 3 of the Southwest Division Semi-Final Round best of five playoff series. The Ice Pilots trail the Sea Wolves 2 games to none in the series. Rally Towels will be given away at the game sponsored by Gulf Power and Super Lube.
