Bloomington, Ill. - The Edge have signed wide receiver L.J. Castile, the team announced today. Castile (6'3 - 225), the La Marque, Texas native, was a member of the Cleveland Browns practice squad in 2011 and has played professionally for five seasons, including stints with the CFL's Saskatchewan Roughriders, Edmonton Eskimos, and Ottawa Redblacks as well as the AFL's New Orleans VooDoo, Utah Blaze, and Los Angeles KISS.

Over the course of Castile's five-year arena football career, he has logged 2,982 yards and 72 touchdowns on 235 receptions. Castile has proved his versatility, also making 45 tackles through four appearances on defense

Castile had an impressive college career, lettering three seasons at the University of Houston before transferring and completing his final year of eligibility at Delta State University. Castile helped lead Delta State to a NCAA Division II National Championship appearance in 2010 by leading the team in all receiving categories, including receptions (67), receiving yards (900), and touchdowns (13).
