ECHL Announces Fines
December 6, 2010 - ECHL (ECHL) News Release
PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Monday announced the following fines.
Trenton's Dean Fined
Trenton head coach Kevin Dean has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions following ECHL Game #197, Reading at Trenton, on Dec. 4.
Dean was assessed a game misconduct at the conclusion of the game.
Dean is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Gwinnett's Paquette Fined
Gwinnett's Danick Paquette has been fined an undisclosed amount for his actions in ECHL Game #200, Greenville at Gwinnett, on Dec. 5.
Paquette received a major penalty and game misconduct for boarding at 5:47 of the second period.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
