ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Monday announced the following fines and suspensions.
Manchester's Turgeon fined, suspended
Manchester's Tony Turgeon has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Playoff Game #A-2, Adirondack at Manchester, on April 15.
Turgeon was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for elbowing at 9:40 of the first period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Turgeon will miss Manchester's playoff game at Adirondack on April 18.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Kalamazoo's Wilson fined, suspended
Kalamazoo's Ben Wilson has been suspended indefinitely and fined an undisclosed amount stemming from an incident that occurred that ECHL Playoff Game #E-2, Kalamazoo at Toledo, on April 15.
