ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Monday announced the following fines and suspensions.
Bakersfield's Gimblett suspended
Bakersfield's Tyson Gimblett has been suspended one additional game as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #350, Stockton at Bakersfield, on Dec. 28.
Gimblett was assessed a match penalty under Rule #48.5 at 3:28 of the second period.
Gimblett missed Bakersfield's game vs. Idaho on Dec. 29 and will miss the club's game against Idaho on Jan. 2
Bakersfield's Dame-Malka fined, suspended
Bakersfield's Olivier Dame-Malka has been suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #361, Idaho at Bakersfield, on Dec. 29.
Dame-Malka was assessed a major penalty for elbowing under Rule #45.3 at 6:35 of the third period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Dame-Malka will miss Bakersfield's games vs. Idaho (Jan. 2) and at Idaho (Jan. 4 and Jan. 5).
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Cincinnati's Luciani fined
Cincinnati's Anthony Luciani has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #356, Cincinnati at Evansville, on Dec. 29.
Luciani was assessed a slashing penalty under Rule #61.2 at 19:26 of the second period. He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
