ECHL Announces Fine, Suspension

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Wednesday announced that Trenton's Andrew Conboy has been suspended for five games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #264, Trenton at Gwinnett, on Dec. 9.
Conboy was assessed a game misconduct under Rule #53.4 at 8:31 of the third period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Conboy will miss Trenton's games vs. Wheeling (Dec. 14), vs. Elmira (Dec. 15), vs. Orlando (Dec. 16), vs. Elmira (Dec. 19) and at Evansville (Dec. 21).
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
