Earthquakes Announce 2018 Preseason Schedule The San Jose Earthquakes announce their 2018 preseason schedule, including three games at Avaya Stadium: the Black and Blue Scrimmage on Jan. 27, a friendly against USL affiliate Reno 1868 FC on Feb. 10 and a closed-door match against Sacramento Republic FC on Feb. 22. The Earthquakes will also take on the Portland Timbers and Real Salt Lake in Tucson, Ariz. and rivals LA Galaxy in Irvine, Califonia.

Affiliates Clash in Upcoming Friendly The San Jose Earthquakes and USL affiliate Reno 1868 FC face off at Avaya Stadium for the first time on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 2 p.m. The match will be the only preseason game at Avaya Stadium that is open to the public. The Earthquakes recently signed Jimmy Ockford, Luis Felipe and Chris Wehan from Reno 1868 FC in December 2017.

Earthquakes to Participate in eMLS The San Jose Earthquakes will participate in eMLS, a competitive EA SPORTS(tm) FIFA 18 league consisting of 18 other MLS clubs. eMLS will pit the best FIFA 18 players from the U.S. and Canada against each other to determine who will represent the League in the EA SPORTS FIFA 18 Global Series Playoffs on the Road to the FIFA eWorld Cup 2018. eMLS plans to elevate competitive gaming and Major League Soccer by engaging with a younger demographic of soccer fans across North America.

Earthquakes Girls' Academy Midfielder Sophie Jones Called to U-17 WNT Camp San Jose Earthquakes Girls' Academy midfielder Sophie Jones has been called up to the U.S. U-17 Women's National Team for their January training camp in Bradenton, Fla., taking place between Jan. 10-19. Jones is one of 24 players called up by U.S. head coach Mark Carr for the camp.
