Earthquakes Team with T-Mobile for Second Straight Season to Create "T-Mobile 4G Power Zone"
March 1, 2013 - Major League Soccer (MLS) - San Jose Earthquakes News Release
SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that they have teamed with T-Mobile for the second year in a row to create the "T-Mobile 4G Power Zone" at all home games for the 2013 season. The promotion will give fans the opportunity to purchase great seats for only $17 - a discount of $10 off the day-of-game price, the most affordable Earthquakes tickets available to the public.
Through the agreement, T-Mobile has rebranded the Corner Flag Section 107 at Buck Shaw Stadium in Santa Clara as the "T-Mobile 4G Power Zone."
"The Earthquakes are proud to work with T-Mobile to provide this unique opportunity for our fans. The 'T-Mobile 4G Power Zone' was very popular last season and we are excited to continue to give our fans this affordable ticket option," said Dave Kaval, Club President for the San Jose Earthquakes.
Fans can purchase tickets with a regular day-of-game price of $27 for only $17 at 48 participating T-Mobile stores throughout the Bay Area. The vouchers can be used toward any home game, subject to availability, including the June 29 game at Stanford Stadium. The vouchers can be redeemed at Earthquakes team headquarters at 451 El Camino Real, Suite 220, Santa Clara 95050, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, or at the stadium on the day of the game.
"We're looking forward to another stellar season this year and are excited to once again offer Earthquakes fans an affordable way to see their favorite team," said Rich Garwood, vice president and general manager, Northwest Region, T-Mobile USA. "T-Mobile is known as the value leader and we're happy to provide that to San Jose fans, both on and off the pitch."
