Houston Dynamo FC News Release

HOUSTON, TX (Friday, June 29, 2007) - David Beckham has not yet arrived in the U.S., but the mania that surrounds him has.

His much anticipated arrival has led to a significant spike in ticket sales across Major League Soccer. Tickets for the David Beckham games are going fast in places like New York, Washington D.C., and Chicago. The same is expected here in Houston.

With all of this in mind, the Houston Dynamo has announced that tickets for Beckham's only regular-season game in Houston this year, which will be played on October 7, are now on sale.

The team is offering full season ticket holders the opportunity to purchase tickets to the October 7th game as part of an exclusive on-sale period. Season tickets holders may purchase an unlimited number of tickets through this private window, which runs from Monday, July 2nd to Sunday, July 15th.

"This game is sure to be a sellout, so we wanted to make sure that our most loyal fans and customers have the first and best opportunity to be a part of this historic event," says team President Oliver Luck. "Houston is a big-event town, and Robertson Stadium will be the place to be on October 7th. The best way to get access to the big game is with season tickets."

Upon the conclusion of this private window, previous 2007 Dynamo group ticket buyers and min-plan holders will have an opportunity to purchase tickets to the match. This exclusive window will begin on Monday, July 16th.

Tickets for the general public will go on sale on Saturday, September 1.

For more information, call the Dynamo ticket office at 713.276.7500.

The Dynamo face off against interstate rival FC Dallas this Saturday (5:00 PM - TV: Fox Soccer Channel, Radio: 790 AM, 850 AM, 101.7 FM). Houston is looking to extend its franchise-high five-game winning streak, which would place them atop the Western Conference.
