Dynamo Host Real Salt Lake Tomorrow

HOUSTON - The Houston Dynamo face Real Salt Lake at 7:30 p.m. CDT tomorrow at BBVA Compass Stadium in a match presented by Mustang CAT. Tickets are available at www.HoustonDynamo.com, by calling 713-276-GOAL, or by visiting the BBVA Compass Stadium box office (2200 Texas St., Houston) beginning at 10 a.m. tomorrow.

Saturday evening's forecast calls for mostly sunny skies, a 10 percent chance of rain and a temperature near 80 degrees at kickoff.

The game will be broadcast live on ROOT SPORTS Southwest (7:00 p.m. pregame; channel guide) and can be heard on SportsRadio 610 AM KILT and the Radio.com APP and in Spanish on Univision Radio 1010 AM KLAT.

Saturday's match is the annual First Responders Appreciation Night. A portion of proceeds from First Responders ticket packages will benefit local police and fire nonprofits. Select police and fire representatives will face off in a Guns and Hoses match following the game.

The Copa America Trophy will be on display in the Bud Light Beer Garden before the game.

Game Notes

The Dynamo (2-6-2, 8 points) will look to bounce back from a 3-1 loss at San Jose on Wednesday. The Dynamo will face its first repeat opponent in 2016 as Real Salt Lake visits Houston visits Houston 15 days after defeating the Dynamo 2-1 at Rio Tinto Stadium. Tonight is the second game within a club-record five-game road stretch for Real Salt Lake as it renovates the field at Rio Tinto Stadium.

Real Salt Lake has 17 points after nine games (5-2-2) and welcomed back Ecuadorian forward Joao Plata from a hip flexor injury last week. Plata won MLS Player of the Month in March and has tallied four goals and four assists in seven appearances. Argentine playmaker Javier Morales, a two-time MLS All-Star, is now 36 years old and led MLS in chances created last season and was named Real Salt Lake MVP with eight goals and 12 assists.

RSL midfielder Kyle Beckerman is the all-time MLS leader in games played by a field player (387 regular season appearances). Beckerman, a seven-time MLS All-Star and 17-year veteran, has 51 caps for United States, including three starts at the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Goalkeeper Nick Rimando is in his 16th MLS season and has set a league record with 125 shutouts and is second all-time with 402 regular-season starts and 176 wins.
