Houston won the cannon in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2012 while FC Dallas gained honors in 2008, 2010 and from 2013-15.

The Dynamo will win the season series with any of the following results tomorrow: A win, a tie, or a defeat by four goals or less. Houston is in this position following a 5-0 home win on March 12 and 1-1 draw at FC Dallas on June 2.

The Dynamo will face an FC Dallas team not featuring Fabian Castillo for the first time since 2010 tomorrow after the Colombian winger moved on loan to Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super League on August 4. Castillo had three goals and four assists in his final six games against the Dynamo, capped by his winning goal in the U.S. Open Cup quarterfinals on July 20.

FC Dallas has a balanced attack with four players contributing five or more goals: Maxi Urruti (seven), Michael Barrios (six), Tesho Akindele (six) and Castillo (five). Argentinian midfielder Mauro Diaz was named to 2016 MLS All-Star team and is fourth in the league with 10 assists.

FC Dallas is competing in three competitions at present. The North Texas club played in Nicaragua on Wednesday, gaining a 1-1 draw with Real Estelí in the CONCACAF Champions League. FC Dallas will host the U.S. Open Cup Final vs. the New England Revolution on September 13.

Following tomorrow's game, the Dynamo face Chivas Guadalajara in a friendly match on Sunday, September 4 at BBVA Compass Stadium. For tickets for every Dynamo game, visit www.HoustonDynamo.com or call 713-276-GOAL.
