Ducks Return Guenin to Crunch

Syracuse, NY (February 11, 2012) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have returned defenseman Nate Guenin to Syracuse.

Guenin, 29, has played in 10 games with the Ducks this season and has recorded one goal and six penalty minutes. Guenin scored his first career NHL goal in his Anaheim debut on October 7 in Helsinki, Finland. Guenin was named Crunch Captain at the start of the 2011-12 season and has totaled four points, all assists, in 21 games with the Crunch this season. Guenin was acquired on Jan. 4, 2011 from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for Trevor Smith.

The Crunch take on the Albany Devils Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at the War Memorial Arena. Both season tickets and single game tickets for the 2011-2012 season can still be purchased either in person at the Crunch Box Office located at the War Memorial on 800 South State Street in Syracuse, or by calling the office at (315) 473- 4444.
