NOTES OF INTEREST

HEATING UP AT THE PLATE: After scuffling a bit coming out of the gate following missing the first month of the season with an injured hip, Cody Bellinger seems to have turned things around. Over his last 10 games, the LA Dodgers #5 prospect has batted a robust .371 with 4 home runs and a team-leading 10 RBI.

LEADING THE LEAGUE: Although the Drillers pitching staff has not had the big names like Julio Urias and Jose De Leon that they did last season, the hurlers have still been turning in quality work. The Tulsa staff currently leads all the Texas League with a 3.33 team ERA entering the week, and is third in strikeouts with 353 in 367.2 total innings.

TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALLGAME: As the Drillers begin their fourth homestand of the year, the club has had 109,596 fans come out to ONEOK Field thus far in 2016 averaging almost 5,500 fans per game.

RECORD AGAINST OPPONENTS: The Drillers take a break from North Division action as they take on the Frisco RoughRiders and Midland RockHounds for the first time this season. Going into the series, the Drillers have an 11-23 record facing the RoughRiders at ONEOK Field since its opening in 2010, while featuring a much better 24-13 mark against the RockHounds.
