Today's Game: The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Lake County Captains (affiliate of the Cleveland Indians) in the first game of a three-game series and first game of the second half.
Individual Notes
- Seth Mejias-Brean saw his 10-game hitting streak end in the last Dragons game on Sunday. This was the longest hitting streak of the year for a Dayton player. Over his last 33 games, he is batting .331 to raise his average from .193 to .268.
- Zach Vincej is batting .405 over his last 11 games to raise his average from .226 to .254.
- Junior Arias is batting .336 over his last 30 games to raise his average from .211 to .273. Arias' 36 stolen bases are third most in a season in Dragons history. The club record is 103 by Billy Hamilton in 2011.
