Today's Game: The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Cedar Rapids Kernels (affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels) in the second game of a three-game set. Following this series, the Dragons will play six straight road games vs. Wisconsin and Beloit starting Wednesday.

Individual Notes

* Kyle Waldrop over his last 11 games: 13 for 32 (.406), five doubles, two triples, six RBI. He is now batting .304 and ranks fifth in the league in on-base percentage at .441. He also has nine walks and three hit batsmen on the year.

* Dan Jensen, a right-handed relief pitcher, becomes the first Montgomery County native to play for the Dragons in their history. Jensen is from the Dayton suburb of Centerville. He has made six appearances out of the Dayton bullpen and allowed two unearned runs in 11 innings.

* Dragons reliever Carlos Contreras over his last three appearances: 6.1 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 3 SO.

Team Notes

* The Dragons are 6-4 over their last 10 games and have won their last two sets, taking two of three at Fort Wayne and vs. Quad Cities.

* The Dragons are batting .262 (66 for 252) as a team over the last seven games after batting .216 over their first 10 games.
