Dragons' Ervin Placed on Disabled List

DAYTON, OHIO - The Dayton Dragons announced the following roster changes today:

Outfielder Phillip Ervin has been placed on the disabled list.

Infielder Brent Peterson has been activated from the disabled list.

The Dragons roster remains at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.

Ervin, the Cincinnati Reds first round draft pick earlier this summer, suffered a sprained wrist prior to the Dragons game on Sunday, August 11. He has appeared in 12 games with the Dragons this season, batting .349 with one home run and six runs batted in.

Peterson has been out since suffering a sprained wrist on July 26. He has appeared in 49 games for the Dragons this season, batting .219 with no home runs and six runs batted in.
