Dorados Continue Broadcast Partnerships

Hidalgo, Texas --- The Rio Grande Valley Dorados will continue their broadcast partnerships with both ESPN Radio1240 and Televisa XERV-9 for the 2006 af2 football season.

Every Dorados home game will be televised on Televisa (XERV-9, cable 19), while fans can tune in on live on ESPN 1240 for every home and away game.

Rich Bocchini will provide play-by-play on the TV and road radio broadcasts, while Alex Del Barrio will handle the home play-by-play on ESPN 1240. Dennis Scott will provide color commentary and halftime interviews on TV broadcasts.

Bocchini is also the play-by-play voice for the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees and serves as the director of media relations for both the Bees and Dorados. Del Barrio served two seasons as the voice of the Edinburg RoadRunners and currently hosts "Sportsline" on ESPN 1240 from 4-6 p.m. on weekdays. Scott calls high school football for Rio Grande City High School and been involved in sportscasting 32 years.

The Dorados begin the home portion of the 16-game season Saturday, April 8, vs. Tulsa at Obra Homes Field at Dodge Arena. The season opener takes place on the road, Saturday, April 1, at Central Valley.
