Clayton Cook, Jeff McKenzie and Stephen Shackleford finished out the eight-hitter from the Lincoln bullpen.

Brandon Jacobs belted his first home run of the season, a two-run shot in a three-run second inning.

Curt Smith stroked an opposite-field RBI double in the third to make it 4-0.

Smith finished 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI but left the game after the fifth inning with a leg injury.
