Oklahoma City - Rob Segedin hit three home runs to lead the Oklahoma City Dodgers as they racked up 14 runs and 21 hits on the night to sweep a doubleheader against the Omaha Storm Chasers Saturday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Oklahoma City won the first game, 5-1, before winning the second game, 9-4, in front of a sellout crowd of 9,850.

The wins gave the Dodgers a 2-1 lead in the series and they improved their record to a season-best 14 games above .500 at 51-37.

Infielder Segedin, who will represent the Dodgers in the Triple-A All-Star Game and Home Run Derby next week in Charlotte, N.C., finished the night with three home runs and a double as all of his hits went for extra bases. He also collected five RBI over the two games.

Oklahoma City's Zach Walters finished the second game 4-for-4, and in the two games combined, he collected five hits, including two doubles and a home run. He also scored three runs.

The Dodgers won the first game of the doubleheader, which consisted of two seven-inning games, 5-1.

Omaha (38-50) took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning on a RBI single by Tony Cruz.

The Dodgers then grabbed the lead for good in the bottom of the inning. Austin Barnes tripled with one out before Segedin crushed a two-run homer into the Dodgers bullpen in left-center field for a 2-1 Oklahoma City advantage.

The Dodgers added to their lead in the fourth inning. Walters hit a one-out double to left field before Jack Murphy and Alex Hassan drew walks to load the bases for Rico Noel. Noel then lined a two-run double into center field to give Oklahoma City a 4-1 lead.

Micah Johnson homered down the left-field line in the bottom of the sixth inning to give the Dodgers a 5-1 lead.

Pitcher Ross Stripling started the first game for the Dodgers, tossing 3.2 innings and allowing one run and five hits with one walk and three strikeouts. Sam LeCure (4-2) entered the game in the fourth inning and pitched 2.1 scoreless innings for the win. He allowed two hits and struck out three. Jacob Rhame pitched a hitless and scoreless seventh for Oklahoma City.

Omaha starting pitcher Jonathan Dziedzic (3-7) was charged with the loss, allowing four runs and four hits over 5.0 innings. He walked four and struck out six.

Omaha scored first again in the second game.

Irving Falu hit a two-out double into right field and scored when Travis Snider reached on a fielding error by Dodgers second baseman Johnson for 1 -0 Omaha lead in the top of the first inning.

Segedin hit his second home run of the night in the bottom of the third inning, sending a two-run shot to left field for a 2-1 Dodgers lead. O'Koyea Dickson later hit a sacrifice fly to center field to boost the Dodgers a 3-1 advantage.

The Dodgers broke open the game with a six-run, seven-hit fourth inning.

Walters' three-run homer in the bottom of the frame extended Oklahoma City to a 6-1 lead.

Segedin followed with his second home run of the game, and third of the day, to left field for a 7-1 Dodgers lead. The back-to-back homers marked the third time the Dodgers have accomplished the feat this season.

Charlie Culberson's RBI double and James Ramsey's RBI single later in the inning, still with one out, gave the Dodgers a 9-1 advantage.

Omaha cut into the Dodgers' lead in the top of the seventh and final inning.

Robert Pehl scored from third base on a wild pitch from Dodgers reliever Layne Somsen. Orlando Calixte then hit a RBI single and Raul Mondesi followed with a RBI triple to cut Oklahoma City's lead to 9-4.
