Waterloo Black Hawks News Release
Waterloo, Iowa-Waterloo Black Hawks forward Danny DiGrande has committed to RPI, the team announced Tuesday.
The 20-year-old will skate as a freshman for the Engineers next fall. Waterloo's roster now includes 16 players with an NCAA Division I college commitment.
DiGrande scored his first Black Hawks goal Saturday during a 6-3 road loss to the Fargo Force. He has appeared in all ten Waterloo games this season with two points. DiGrande is in his third United States Hockey League season. Last year, he was a member of the Tri-City Storm, and in 2015/16, DiGrande played for the Muskegon Lumberjacks. All totaled, he has been in the lineup for 84 USHL regular season games with 13 goals and 12 assists.
The RPI roster currently includes freshman Emil Ohrvall who played for the Hawks last season.
