PENSACOLA, FL. - Number one Peoria Rivermen was back in Pensacola for the second game this weekend between the Pensacola Ice Flyers.

Unlike last night's hot start by the Ice Flyers, it took a full 20 minutes before a goal was scored by either team. After 65 minutes and a shootout, Pensacola ultimately fell to Peoria 2-1. Peoria's Mason Pulde got the start over Peter Di Salvo and recorded 39 saves on 40 shots.

The first period was rather uneventful between the two teams. Pensacola's Josh Cousineau went to the penalty box 19 seconds in, but the Ice Flyers held off the power play. Peoria had their lone penalty in the first at 17:32.

The Rivermen scored their way back into the game tying the score at 1-1 at 8:07 in the third. Peoria's Connor Gorman put one past goaltender Brian Billett with an assist from Joseph Widmar and Jordan Carvalho.
