Rockford IceHogs News Release

ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Chicago Blackhawks have reassigned goaltender Collin Delia from the Rockford IceHogs (AHL) to the Indy Fuel (ECHL).

Delia, 23, made his AHL debut with the IceHogs on Nov. 9 at Iowa. The netminder suffered the loss in that outing, stopping 12 of 16 pucks in Rockford's 5-3 defeat by the Wild. Prior to his first AHL action, Delia combined to go 1-4-1-0 with a 4.00 GAA and .894 save percentage in six starts with the Fuel.

Last year, the Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. native was named the Hockey East Goaltending Champion while also earning Hockey East Third Team All-Star honors after ranking 14th in the nation with a 2.15 goals against average and ninth with a .927 save percentage for Merrimack College. He also notched a career-high nine victories during the campaign, and was tabbed the Hockey East Goaltender of the Month for January.

Next Home Game: The IceHogs return to the BMO Harris Bank Center tonight (Nov. 10) to take on the San Antonio Rampage on Pucks & Paws Night. Fans are invited to bring their dogs to the BMO for this special occasion, and the first 1,500 through the doors will receive a plush Otis dog toy, courtesy of Riverside Dental. Tickets can be purchased at IceHogs.com, by calling (815) 968-5222 or in-person at the BMO Harris Bank Center Box Office.
