Defenseman Justin Hamonic Returns to Colorado

WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, announced Sunday that defenseman Justin Hamonic has been reassigned to the Eagles by the team's AHL affiliate the San Antonio Rampage. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound blueliner has posted two assists in 35 games this season with the Eagles.

Hamonic has competed in 89 ECHL contests with Colorado, Fort Wayne and Alaska, posting one goal and nine assists. Prior to turning pro, the Winnipeg, Manitoba native spent four seasons in the WHL with the Tri-City Americans, registering 46 points in 255 contests. The 22 year-old spent his final two seasons in the WHL serving as the captain for the Americans.

The Eagles return to action when they face the Utah Grizzlies at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah on Monday, March 20th at 7:10pm.
