INDEPENDENCE, MO (March 11, 2015)- The Missouri Mavericks announced Wednesday afternoon that defenseman Colten Hayes will return to the Mavs lineup.
Hayes was recalled from the Alaska Aces (ECHL) by the Missouri Mavericks' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate team, the Chicago Wolves, on Wednesday before being loaned to Missouri.
The twenty-five year old Maple Ridge, BC native started the season with the Mavs, notching 2 assists and 27 penalty minutes through five games. Since then Hayes has spent forty-four contests with the Alaska Aces, putting up 6 goals, 12 assists, and 71 penalty minutes for the Pacific Division team.
The Mavericks play their next game tonight at 7:05pm (CST) on the road in Moline, IL against the Quad City Mallards at the iWireless Center.
