Dazzle make-up game announced

Roanoke, Va., February 22 - The Roanoke Dazzle announce that the team will face the Florida Flame on Tuesday, March 28th at the Roanoke Civic Center with tip-off slated for 7:00 p.m.

The March 28th game is the make-up date for the contest originally scheduled for Friday, February 17th which was postponed due to travel difficulties with the Dazzle.

Fans with questions regarding tickets from the February 17th game are asked to contact the Dazzle office at (540) 266-1000.

Tickets for Dazzle games are available at the Roanoke Civic Center Box Office or at www.tickets.com. Children age 12 and under and seniors age 55 and over are just $7.50, while adult tickets are $10 and $16.50. Groups of 15 or more people can receive special discounted tickets of just $7.50 per ticket when ordered in advance through the Roanoke Dazzle office by calling (540) 266-1000.

The NBA Development League includes the Albuquerque Thunderbirds (N.M.), Arkansas RimRockers (Little Rock), Austin Toros (Texas), Fayetteville Patriots (N.C.), Florida Flame (Ft. Myers), Fort Worth Flyers (Texas), Roanoke Dazzle (Va.) and Tulsa 66ers (Okla.).

The D-League offers players the opportunity to develop their talent in a highly competitive atmosphere under the NBA's umbrella. Thirty-eight (38) players have been called up to the NBA on 56 separate occasions. Eleven (11) former D-League coaches, six athletic trainers, 14 referees and 30 front office executives have also been called up since the start of the league's inaugural season in November 2001.

Designed to help grow the sport of basketball both domestically and internationally, the league also offers fun, family entertainment at affordable prices. The D-League is a source of on-court talent for the NBA's 30 teams and is a diverse human resources pool for the NBA and its teams by training employees in management, operations, public relations, sales and marketing positions.
