DAYTONA BEACH, FL - The Daytona Cubs would like to invite you and your pooch to Jackie Robinson Ballpark for one of our two scheduled Dog Days in 2010. On April 28th and July 30th bring man's best friend to watch America's pastime with proceeds benefiting Greyhound Pets of America.
Greyhound Pets of America is a non-profit corporation founded for the purpose of finding homes for ex-racing greyhounds and educating the public on the suitability and availability of greyhounds as pets. Since its inception in 1987, Greyhound Pets of America has since over 80,000 greyhounds into loving homes.
On each of the Dog Days there will be numerous pet-related businesses set up along the Riverwalk passing out information and treats for your dog's enjoyment.
There will be a $2 entry fee for dogs on the night, but all of the proceeds will go to the Greyhound Pets of America. The event is also supported by Daytona Beach Kennel Club and Poker Room.
