Dawson Leedahl Gives Pats OT Win Over Raiders Monday

Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats got two goals from Dawson Leedahl, including the game winner, and 27 saves from Jordan Hollett in a 3-2 overtime win in Prince Albert on Monday. The Raiders opened the scoring with a powerplay goal in the first and led 1-0 after 1. In the second, the Pats scored twice, one from Leedahl and another from Josh Mahura to tie the game 2-2 heading to the final frame. After a scoreless third, Leedahl ripped a shot into the top of the net from the right circle, 2:31 into OT to give the Pats the 3-2 victory, improving their record on the season to 42-9-6-1. Regina outshot the Raiders 44-29, the powerplay was oh for two and the penalty kill three for five. The Pats return to action on Wednesday in Saskatoon against the Blades. Puck drop is at 7 p.m. on 620 CKRM.
