Kootenay Ice News Release

Cranbrook, B.C. - Brett Davis has been named the Player of the Month presented by Jewels on Ninth for February 2018.

This is the second consecutive month Davis has been awarded the honour.

The Oakbank, Manitoba native recorded 14 points (5G, 9A) in 15 games during February. Davis recorded at least one point in 10 of the 15 games and had four multi-point nights.

Davis had one point streak during the month. The streak spanned four games - from February 12-17 - where he collected seven points.

Davis averaged 0.93 points per game in February.

Davis has been over a point-per-game player over the past 32 games, registering 37 points during that stretch.

As of March 1, Davis is third in team scoring with 52 points (23G, 29A) in 65 games. He is one of two ICE players to play in every game this season.

The Dallas Stars selected Davis in the sixth round (163'rd overall) in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

Davis will receive a Bulova Stainless Steel Bracelet with a silver diamond dial valued at $325 courtesy of Jewels on Ninth.
