February 21, 2017 - Carolina League (CarL1)
Winston-Salem Dash News Release
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C- The Winston-Salem Dash's amateur baseball program will once again provide many local teams with an opportunity to play at BB&T Ballpark this spring. There will be an amateur baseball game on nine dates this season.
Thanks to this slate of games, along with the Dash's 71-game home schedule and Winston-Salem State University's 21-game home schedule, BB&T Ballpark will host more than 100 baseball games in 2017.
Each amateur baseball player will have the thrill of a lifetime by playing in a professional baseball stadium and seeing their name and picture on BB&T Ballpark's scoreboard. The program's benefits extend beyond the game. All participating schools or organizations also purchased a specified number of tickets to Dash games in 2017, and these schools or organizations can resell the tickets to benefit their athletic departments or booster clubs. This marks the seventh year of the Dash's amateur baseball program, which has welcomed almost 100 teams in its history.
"Most young baseball players dream of an opportunity to play at a professional field," Dash President Geoff Lassiter said. "We are honored to give many local players an opportunity to suit up right here at BB&T Ballpark with their friends and teammates."
Admission to games, if applicable, is mutually agreed upon by the two teams. All games are seven innings in length, unless otherwise noted. Here is the full schedule (dates and times subject to change):
