Danis-Pepin Recalled, Sarauer Released from PTO

Cleveland, Ohio- Chicago Blackhawks General Manager of Minor League Affiliations Mark Bernard announced on Saturday that defenseman Simon Danis-Pepin has been recalled from the ECHL's Toledo Walleye to the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs.

Bernard also announced that the IceHogs have released forward Andrew Sarauer from his PTO. Sarauer made his IceHogs debut Friday night in Lake Erie against the Monsters. The winger will return to the ECHL's Reading Royals where he has played in 46 games and has totaled 14g-29a-43pts.

Danis-Pepin was reassigned to Toledo on Friday and appeared in the Walleye's contest against the Kalamazoo Wings Friday night. The 6-7 d-man has appeared in 23 games with Toledo this season and has 2g-8a-10pts.

In 23 games with the IceHogs, Danis-Pepin has a goal and three assists.

Next Home Game: Sunday, March 13, vs. Chicago Wolves. Puck drop is at 4:05 p.m. It's the IceHogs 12th Annual Jersey Auction game. The Hogs will be wearing special jerseys commemorating first responders. After the game, the jerseys will be auctioned off to fans. Also, the first 2,500 fans to the game will receive a Jersey Auction T-Shirt compliments of WXRX.
