CINCINNATI'S LARGEST FISH FRY

TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: The Cyclones are in the Sunshine State tonight in hopes of snapping a three game losing skid as they battle the Florida Everblades in the first of back-to-back games. The "˜Blades have won all three meetings this season against Cincinnati, however, the all-time series is extremely close; the Clones have earned a 9-9-1 record since 2006.

SCOUTING THE EVERBLADES: Greg Poss' club is in the thick of a tough Eastern Conference playoff race. They're currently tied for fifth in the East with 79 points but are a mere two points ahead of eighth place Toledo. Mathieu Roy continues to lead the ECHL in scoring, collecting 74 points (32 goals, 42 assists) in 63 games - his helper totals among the top five in the league. Matthew Pistilli has also been a major contributor on offense with 64 tallies (21 goals, 43 assists) in 68 contests. One of Florida's best assets has been its power play; this season, the "˜Blades have converted on 21 percent of their opportunities this season - ranking third in the ECHL. With Former Ferris State Bulldog Pat Nagle once again recalled to the AHL, relative newcomer Jesse Deckert will assume the role tonight. So far this season, he has gone 4-0-1 in his first handful of pro games with a 2.55 GAA.

Playing Positive: Cyclones rear guard Chris Reed has been a beacon of stability on the blue line this season, accumulating a +27 plus/minus rating - the third best among all ECHL players this season. Mathieu Aubin took home the Plus Performer of the Year a season ago with a +25 season rating. Reed is on pace to rank in the Cyclone All-Time Top 5 for a single season plus/minus mark.

Help from Above: The Cyclones received a pair of players from the San Antonio Rampage this week - defenseman Josh McFadden and forward Justin Vaive. Last season with Cincy, Vaive finished with 18 points in 40 games. They also added Nashville Predators defensive prospect Jeff Foss, who is rehabbing from injury.
